Saudi crown prince discusses regional escalation with foreign leaders, SPA reports

Riyadh, March 1, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed the military escalation in the region and its implications for regional and international security during separate phone calls on Sunday, according to Saudi Press Agency.
The crown prince spoke with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
The leaders condemned Iranian aggression targeting the Kingdom and rejected actions that infringe on Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and stability.
They expressed support for measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security and citizens.
