Saudi crown prince, Bahrain king discuss regional security and maritime alliance

RIYADH, July 31 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa discussed regional developments and security efforts during a telephone call on Thursday.
King Hamad congratulated the crown prince on the establishment of the multinational maritime defence alliance and Saudi Arabia’s selection as its leader and permanent headquarters.
The Bahraini monarch said the decision reflected international confidence in Saudi Arabia’s role in strengthening collective maritime security.
The two leaders also discussed issues of shared interest.
