Saudi Coffee Company launches third “Saudi Sip of Excellence” contest with ACE

RIYADH, December 21, 2025 (SABN) – Saudi Coffee Company, a subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, has launched the third edition of the Saudi Sip of Excellence (Gems of Saudi) in cooperation with the Alliance for Coffee Excellence (ACE), the company said.

The competition aims to support Saudi coffee farmers, raise crop quality and strengthen the Kingdom’s standing in specialty coffee production, the company said.

Saudi Coffee Company said the initiative builds on two earlier editions that it described as a national platform recognising top farmers in Jazan, Al-Baha and Aseer, and forms part of its broader goal to develop the domestic coffee ecosystem from “farm to cup”.

The company said the programme will offer training and technical evaluation of local crops, with judging and tasting conducted under the oversight of global experts from ACE.

It added that the initiative also aims to support economic development in coffee-growing communities, improve their competitiveness locally and internationally, and promote the cultural identity of Saudi coffee as part of national heritage and Arab hospitality.
