PARIS, May 25 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Arabia will normalize relations with Israel only once there is an irreversible pathway to a Palestinian state, a Saudi source told CNN, after U.S. President Donald Trump called on Middle Eastern countries to sign the Abraham Accords following any deal to end the Iran war.
Saudi Arabia’s position remains unchanged, the source said, describing it as the need for an “irreversible pathway to a Palestinian state.”
Trump said earlier on Monday that he was “mandatorily” requesting Middle Eastern and other countries to sign the Abraham Accords once an agreement to end the conflict with Iran is reached.
The U.S. president also warned that military action could resume “bigger and stronger than ever before” if no agreement is reached.
