Riyadh, Nov. 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) announced that it will host the fourth edition of the Global AI Summit in Riyadh from September 15 to 17, 2026, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of SDAIA’s Board of Directors.
SDAIA said the summit will bring together senior government officials, decision-makers, CEOs of major global technology companies, and experts, innovators, and researchers in data and artificial intelligence.
SDAIA President Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi expressed appreciation for HRH the Crown Prince’s patronage, noting that it reflects the continued support enabling the authority’s efforts and contributing to the Kingdom’s advancement in global AI indicators.
He said the summit comes at a critical moment as rapid developments in AI technologies continue to reshape daily life and influence future trends. The event aims to support the Kingdom’s shift toward a knowledge-based economy in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The 2026 edition builds on the outcomes of previous summits held in 2020, 2022, and 2024, which produced several major initiatives and agreements. Among the most notable was the establishment of the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), a UNESCO-affiliated center headquartered in Riyadh.
SDAIA affirmed that hosting the summit strengthens the Kingdom’s role as a global center for artificial intelligence and reflects its commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and sustainable economic development.
