Saudi Arabia to Host First Edition of Salone del Mobile Milano in Riyadh

Riyadh, October 3, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Architecture and Design Commission announced the launch of the first edition of the Salone del Mobile Milano exhibition in Riyadh, to be held from November 26 to 28. The announcement was made during the Cultural Investment Forum, organized by the Ministry of Culture under the patronage of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Riyadh exhibition is a prelude to a larger edition scheduled for 2026, following the strategic partnership signed in January between the commission and Federlegno Arredo Eventi S.p.A., the official owner of the Milan exhibition.

Commission CEO Dr. Sumayah Al-Solaiman said the event will enhance Saudi Arabia’s global presence in the design and furniture industry and foster collaboration between Saudi and international designers.

The exhibition will feature more than 35 Italian brands and highlight national initiatives such as the flagship program “Designed in Saudi.” A cultural program of workshops and panel discussions will bring together Saudi and Italian experts to exchange ideas on architecture, design, and urban transformation.

Officials said the initiative supports Vision 2030 by positioning Saudi Arabia as a regional and global center for creativity and innovation.
