Saudi Arabia intercepts drones targeting an air base

Riyadh, March 2, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia said its forces intercepted five drones on Monday close to an air base southeast of the capital.
The Defense Ministry said the drones targeted Prince Sultan air base, about 115 kilometres southeast of Riyadh.
