Riyadh, Jan 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Hajj and Umrah system has launched the “Coming to Umrah?” awareness campaign as part of preparations for the peak season during the holy month of Ramadan, aiming to improve services and the overall Umrah experience.

The campaign seeks to enhance Umrah performers’ awareness of services, procedures, guidelines and proper conduct across all stages of the journey, from planning and arrival to departure, according to the Hajj and Umrah system.

Officials said total international Umrah arrivals have exceeded 11.8 million since the start of the 1447 AH season. The campaign will run until the end of Ramadan.

The initiative uses digital and on-site communication tools to accompany Umrah performers throughout their journey, directing them to official awareness channels and promoting positive behavior in the Two Holy Mosques and at key sites.

The campaign includes targeted outreach across more than 18 touchpoints, including ports of entry, airports, transport hubs, accommodation facilities, destinations, enrichment sites and the Two Holy Mosques.

Messaging will be delivered through awareness screens, road signage, text messages and other tools, alongside digital and media outreach in more than six languages, the system said.

The campaign is aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, the statement added.
