Saudi Arabia intercepts drone targeting gas facility in Eastern Region

RIYADH, March 18, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia intercepted and destroyed a drone that attempted to approach a gas facility in the Eastern Region, the Ministry of Defense said on Wednesday.
Major General Turki Al-Maliki, the ministry’s official spokesperson, said the interception was carried out without any resulting damage.
