Saudi Arabia Condemns Terrorist Attack Targeting Joint Syrian–US Patrol Near Palmyra

Riyadh, December 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Sunday condemned a terrorist attack that targeted security forces of the Syrian Arab Republic and the United States during a joint counterterrorism field patrol near Palmyra, which resulted in casualties and injuries.

In a statement, the ministry expressed the Kingdom’s strong condemnation of the attack and reiterated its rejection of terrorism in all its forms.

Saudi Arabia extended its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the governments of the Syrian Arab Republic and the United States of America, and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.

The Kingdom reaffirmed its support for international efforts aimed at combating terrorism and maintaining regional and international security.
