RIYADH, December 27 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that targeted the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque during Friday prayers in the city of Homs in the Syrian Arab Republic, resulting in deaths and injuries.


In a statement, the ministry affirmed the Kingdom’s categorical rejection of terrorism and extremism in all their forms, including attacks on mosques and places of worship and the targeting of innocent civilians.


The ministry also expressed the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic in the incident and its support for the Syrian government’s efforts to maintain security and stability.


Saudi Arabia extended its condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Syria, and wished a speedy recovery for the injured, the statement said.
