RIYADH, March 7, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi air defense systems intercepted and destroyed four drones in the Empty Quarter that were heading toward the Shaybah oil field, the Ministry of Defense said on Saturday.
The statement was issued by the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Maj. Gen. Turki Al-Malki.
