SAMI concludes World Defense Show 2026 participation with strategic agreements and new industrial initiatives

Riyadh, February 12, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), a Public Investment Fund company, concluded its participation in the third edition of the World Defense Show 2026, marking a milestone in Saudi Arabia’s defense industrial transformation.


During the five-day event, SAMI signed 25 strategic agreements, launched new specialized companies including SAMI Land Company and SAMI Autonomous Company, and introduced the SAMI Land Industrial Complex, the HEET Program, and its flagship SAMI Local Content Program (RUKN). These initiatives aim to expand technology transfer, localize advanced industrial capabilities, and strengthen the Kingdom’s sovereign defense sector.


SAMI’s pavilion, spanning six locations and over 3,000 square meters, showcased more than 60 integrated national products and capabilities in aerospace, land systems, advanced electronics, autonomous systems, ammunition, and supply chain development. The pavilion hosted ministers, senior officials, and industry leaders, and featured 11 high-level panel discussions along with over 15 specialized sessions.


SAMI reaffirmed its role as a strategic national enabler, supporting Vision 2030 objectives to localize defense spending, develop a resilient defense ecosystem, and position Saudi Arabia as a globally competitive hub for defense and security technologies.
