Riyadh, September 13, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki Alalshikh announced on Saturday that Riyadh Season 2027 will host WrestleMania 43, marking the first time the event will take place outside North America.
Alalshikh described the announcement as an exceptional milestone in the partnership between the GEA and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), calling it a “qualitative leap” for Riyadh Season and pledging an unprecedented edition that reflects the tournament’s history and global fan base.
WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque praised the partnership with Saudi Arabia, describing the GEA and Alalshikh as “exceptional partners” and expressing enthusiasm for staging WrestleMania on a new scale.
The Kingdom’s collaboration with WWE began in 2018 and has since included major events such as Crown Jewel® and Royal Rumble®. WrestleMania, a week-long sports and entertainment festival, attracts fans from more than 60 countries and has generated over $1.5 billion in economic impact for host cities in the past decade.
The most recent edition, WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, was the highest-grossing event in WWE history. Details on the final dates and venue for WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh will be announced in the coming months.
