Riyadh to Host Saudi Ophthalmology Society Conference in November

Riyadh, September 11, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Riyadh will host the Saudi Ophthalmology Society (SOS) Conference 2025 from November 13 to 15 at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel and Residences, organizers announced.

Conference Chairman Dr. Abdulrahman Albloushi said the event is one of the most prominent specialized medical forums in the region and is organized in cooperation with the Department of Ophthalmology at the College of Medicine, King Saud University.

The conference will bring together leading ophthalmologists and eye care specialists from Saudi Arabia and abroad to exchange expertise and discuss the latest developments in diagnosing and treating eye diseases. The program will also feature research presentations, new technologies, clinical practices, workshops, and specialized training sessions designed to enhance the skills of medical professionals.

A key highlight will be the First Gulf Ophthalmology Congress 2025, held alongside the conference, aimed at strengthening Gulf-wide cooperation, unifying efforts to address shared challenges, and promoting the exchange of expertise to advance medical practices and regional integration.
