RIYADH, September 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - More than 100 speakers will take part in 30 dialogue and specialised sessions at the fourth UNESCO Global Forum on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh, with discussions focused on AI governance and responsible development.


The forum runs from September 14 to 17. Its programme includes a press briefing on Monday, with forum sessions beginning on Tuesday.


Discussions will examine how international cooperation can support the safe and responsible development and use of AI, with an emphasis on serving communities, sustainable development and the public good.


Delegations have begun arriving in Riyadh, including ministers responsible for technology and AI. Participants will also include policymakers, experts, academics, representatives of international organisations and officials from the public and private sectors.


Saudi Arabia is hosting the forum through the Saudi Data and AI Authority in partnership with UNESCO. The event is being held in cooperation with the International Center for AI Research and Ethics, with coordination from the Saudi National Commission for Education, Culture and Science.


Organisational and logistical preparations have been completed, including meeting halls, workshop spaces, media facilities and arrangements to receive delegations.
