RIYADH, June 25 — Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 concluded on Thursday at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, bringing together 337 exhibitors from 17 countries and attracting more than 14,000 visitors from around the world, SPA reported.
The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and combined three specialized exhibitions: the 21st editions of Saudi Plastics and Petrochem and Saudi Print and Pack, and the 4th edition of Saudi Smart Logistics.
The exhibitions showcased industrial and logistics technologies, as well as printing and packaging solutions, while creating opportunities for cooperation and investment between local and international companies.
The week’s activities focused on industrial sustainability, digital transformation and the efficiency of supply and production chains. It also highlighted the strategic partnership between Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. and Germany’s Messe Düsseldorf, linking the Saudi exhibitions with the global trade fairs K, Interpack and Drupa.
An accompanying conference brought together more than 40 local and international speakers from 13 countries to discuss Saudi industrial transformation, innovation, localization and global competitiveness.
Conference sessions addressed industrial enablers, investor support, factory and SME efficiency, smart logistics, robotics, autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. They also covered advanced packaging, regulatory compliance in the plastics industry and the circular polymer economy.
Other discussions focused on industrial investment financing, drone use in e-commerce and urban delivery, solar energy use on rooftop spaces, microplastic quantification, net-zero goals and carbon footprint measurement across polymer life-cycle systems.
During the event, the National Industrial Development Center oversaw the signing of an agreement between National Plastic Factory Company and Spain’s Figueras to localize technologies for manufacturing stadium and theater seats.
SPA said the agreement supports technical knowledge transfer, increases local content and enhances the added value of national manufacturing industries. The event also witnessed the signing of additional industrial agreements covering advanced technologies, manufacturing solutions, machinery, industrial equipment and production lines.
The exhibition included specialized workshops on industrial technologies and innovation. The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources participated in a workshop on enhancing industrial quality, while SABIC and Advanced Petrochemical Company held workshops on polymers, packaging, healthcare, sustainability and industrial innovation.
Riyadh International Industry Week 2026 forms part of efforts to build international industrial partnerships, enable industrial investments and showcase technologies that support more competitive and sustainable national industries.
