Princess of Wales visits Italy on first overseas trip since cancer treatment

REGGIO EMILIA, May 13 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Britain’s Princess of Wales received a warm welcome in Reggio Emilia on Wednesday during her first official overseas trip since undergoing cancer treatment, Reuters reported.
Kate, the wife of Prince William, began a two-day visit to the northern Italian city as part of her work on early childhood development.
Hundreds of people gathered in the city’s main square and nearby streets to greet the princess, with some waving Union Jacks and others holding a “Ciao Kate” banner.
The visit focuses on the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education, which places relationships, environment and community at the center of child development.
Kate is expected to visit two public pre-schools and meet administrators, teachers, parents and children.
She will also receive the Primo Tricolore, Reggio Emilia’s highest civic prize, Reuters reported.
