Saudi Sports Minister Opens Mahd Academy Building and Athlete Residence
RIYADH, November 4 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Sport and Chairman of Mahd Sports Academy’s Board of Directors Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal inaugurated the academy’s main building and a residence accommodating up to 108 athletes.
The facilities support talent identification and development, alongside athletes’ education and accommodation needs.
The three-story administrative building spans 4,380 square meters and houses a talent identification laboratory, offices, shared workspaces, meeting rooms and an audiovisual theater.
The residence covers 1,558 square meters across three stories, with 54 hotel-style rooms. It also includes dining and lounge facilities, with operational and supervisory services provided around the clock.
