Prince William visits girls’ football training session in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, February 11, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Prince of Wales, Prince William, attended a training session for players at girls’ regional football centers on Monday at Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City (Misk City).

The visit included meetings with players and the technical and administrative staff. Minister of Sport Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal was also present.

Saudi Arabian Football Federation Vice President Lamia Bahaian briefed Prince William on the development stages of women’s football in the Kingdom, outlining ongoing initiatives to support and empower the sector and the federation’s role in improving player skills and technical performance.

The visit highlights efforts to advance women’s sports as part of Saudi Arabia’s broader initiatives in the sector.
