Police in Bahrain arrest 6 people accused of posting videos at sites of Iranian strikes

Manama, March 12, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Authorities in Bahrain have arrested six people accused of filming and publishing videos from sites targeted by Iranian strikes, the country’s Interior Ministry said.

The ministry said the suspects were detained for recording and sharing footage related to the aftermath of the Iranian attacks, while allegedly expressing sympathy for the strikes and promoting what officials described as hostile acts.

Bahrain’s anti-cybercrime directorate carried out the arrests and referred the suspects to prosecutors after the videos circulated on social media.

Authorities said the content could mislead public opinion, spread fear among citizens and residents, and harm security and public order.

Bahraini authorities have arrested dozens of people in recent days accused of documenting strike locations or participating in demonstrations linked to Iran amid the ongoing regional escalation.
