AMMAN/MUSCAT, July 12, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Oman and Jordan reported drone and missile attacks on Sunday as the United States and Iran exchanged another round of strikes.
Three missiles launched from Iranian territory landed at several locations in Jordan early on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency reported, citing a military source.
“No human casualties were reported, and damage was limited to minor material losses,” the source said.
In Oman, sites in the northern Musandam Governorate “were targeted by drones,” the Oman News Agency reported, citing a security source.
The report did not identify the origin of the drones or provide details about casualties or damage.
Musandam extends into the Strait of Hormuz, a strategically important waterway connecting the Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea.
Iranian state media earlier reported that Iranian forces had targeted sites in Oman and Jordan in retaliation for the latest US strikes.
