New Murabba, UK’s NCC Sign MoU to Advance Innovation and Sustainable Urban Design

London, September 8, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – New Murabba Development Company, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) entity, signed a two-year memorandum of understanding with the United Kingdom’s National Composites Centre (NCC) during the Great Futures Summit in London, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The agreement, signed by Michael Dyke, CEO of New Murabba, and Richard Oldfield, CEO of NCC, aims to foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and the application of advanced materials and technologies to support New Murabba’s strategy of adopting global best practices in urban design.
NCC, part of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVMC), specializes in transforming cutting-edge research into industrial applications in manufacturing and advanced materials.
Dyke said the partnership reflects the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing sustainable development, innovation, and knowledge transfer: “Our collaboration with NCC, a leader in innovation and industrial manufacturing, marks a significant step forward for New Murabba. By integrating the latest materials and future-ready solutions, this will strengthen local talent and industrial capabilities while reinforcing our commitment to building a smart, sustainable urban environment that enhances residents' quality of life.”
