National Guard Minister inspects Hajj 1447 forces in Mina, inaugurates upgraded Al-Sharaie camp in Makkah

MINA, May 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Saudi Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz reviewed the military readiness of National Guard forces participating in this year’s Hajj mission.
The forces are assigned to security and health-related duties in Makkah, the holy sites and Madinah during the 1447 Hajj season.
Prince Abdullah attended a military parade by National Guard forces tasked with supporting pilgrim security and reviewed a visual briefing on the forces’ duties in the western sector.
The minister also inaugurated the Ministry of National Guard forces’ camp in Al-Shara’i in Makkah. The camp has undergone upgrades to its infrastructure, equipment and support facilities to strengthen operational readiness and field efficiency.
National Guard forces are participating in the Hajj season as part of wider military, security and government efforts to serve pilgrims and maintain security throughout the pilgrimage.
