Military projectile hits residential site in Al Kharj, two killed and 12 injured

RIYADH, March 8 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – A military projectile struck a residential site housing workers of a maintenance and cleaning company in Al Kharj governorate on Sunday, leaving two people dead and 12 injured, the official spokesman of Saudi Civil Defense said.
The two fatalities were residents of Indian and Bangladeshi nationality, while the injured included 12 Bangladeshi nationals, according to the statement.
The incident also caused material damage at the site.
Civil Defense said targeting civilian sites constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law, adding that the relevant procedures were implemented in accordance with established protocols.
The statement was issued by Saudi Civil Defense on Sunday.
