Mamoon Al-Qabbani wins first round of Saudi Toyota Championship Hill Climb 2026

TAIF, July 5 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The first round of the Saudi Toyota Championship Hill Climb 2026 concluded on the Al-Mohammediyah track in Taif Governorate, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The round was held under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation and in partnership with Jameel Motorsport.
A total of 43 male and female drivers competed across 10 categories and a Women’s Cup.
The competition was held on a 4.2-kilometer track featuring 30 turns at elevations between 1,900 and 2,150 meters above sea level.
Mamoon Amro Al-Qabbani was crowned overall champion with a time of 3:28.936 minutes.
Faisal Sufyan Al-Qabbani finished second, while Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Qaidi placed third.
In the Women’s Cup, Reem AlAboud claimed first place with a time of 4:24.729 minutes.
This season, the championship introduced two additional qualifying rounds, increasing runs per round to six before two decisive final runs.
Results are determined by each competitor’s single best time.
The second round is scheduled for July 17-18 on the same track.
The season will conclude with the third round from July 31 to August 1.
