DUBAI, May 22 — Majid Al Futtaim will close THAT Concept Store at Mall of the Emirates as part of a $1.3 billion redevelopment of the Dubai shopping centre, WWD reported.
The final closing date has not been set.
THAT Concept Store opened in 2021 as Majid Al Futtaim’s first homegrown concept destination, occupying more than 48,000 square feet across two floors in the mall’s Via Rodeo luxury wing.
The store carries more than 150 international and regional labels across fashion, jewellery, beauty, interiors and art.
Majid Al Futtaim said Mall of the Emirates would be reimagined as a next-generation lifestyle destination with an expanded luxury offer and new experience-led concepts.
The closure comes as the group moves to reposition retail space during a wider redevelopment of the mall.
