RIYADH, March 19, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Kuwait will close its Grand Mosque to worshippers during Eid Al-Fitr prayers due to current circumstances, the Ministry of Information said on Thursday.
The mosque, located in Kuwait City, typically accommodates large numbers of worshippers during major religious occasions.
Authorities said Eid prayers will instead be held in regular mosques, with no large gatherings permitted.
The decision comes as Gulf countries take precautionary measures affecting public events amid ongoing regional developments.
