Kuwait Declares Two Iranian Diplomats Persona Non Grata

KUWAIT, June 3 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Kuwait declared two members of the Iranian diplomatic mission persona non grata and demanded that they leave the country, CNN reported, citing Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry.

The ministry said the decision followed repeated Iranian attacks using ballistic missiles and drones.

Kuwait said the latest attacks targeted civilian and vital facilities, including Kuwait International Airport.

The decision followed the summoning of Iran’s chargé d’affaires in Kuwait, Hamed Hamid Yaqoubi Far, who was handed an official protest note over the latest attacks.

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry said earlier that one person was killed and several others were injured in an Iranian attack targeting civilian infrastructure, including the country’s international airport.
