KSrelief Signs Program to Support 1,500 Orphaned Children in Gaza
KSrelief signed the executive program on Friday with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage as an emergency response for children and families who have lost their primary providers.
The project will directly support 1,500 orphaned boys and girls. A further 4,500 family members and caregivers are expected to benefit indirectly.
Under the program, monthly sponsorship payments will be set at $100. Beneficiaries will also receive clothing, school bags and stationery.
The project includes recreational activities and toy distributions for children, alongside assistance intended to support the social and economic security of participating families.
Digital systems will be used to verify beneficiaries and manage the distribution of financial support. The program also includes accountability measures and procedures for referring beneficiaries safely to relevant services.
The initiative forms part of Saudi humanitarian assistance for Palestinians delivered through KSrelief, with a focus on orphaned children and families affected by the situation in Gaza.
