Jordan Says It Intercepted 18 of 20 Ballistic Missiles Fired From Iran

AMMAN, September 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Jordan’s armed forces said their air defences intercepted and destroyed 18 of 20 ballistic missiles fired toward the country from Iranian territory over the past few hours.
The two remaining missiles fell in unpopulated areas, a military spokesperson said in remarks carried by Petra News Agency. Field assessments found no casualties from the attack, the spokesperson added.
Specialised teams began securing sites where debris and shrapnel had fallen and checking the safety of surrounding areas.
The armed forces said monitoring, tracking and assessment operations were continuing.
