PARIS, June 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned residents of northern Israel and military settlements to leave the area if Israel carries out a threatened attack on Beirut and its southern suburbs, CNN reported.
The Iranian military headquarters accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of threatening to bomb Beirut’s Dahieh district and the Lebanese capital.
“In light of the regime’s repeated violations of the ceasefire, we warn residents of the northern areas and military settlements in the occupied territories that, should this threat be carried out, they should leave the area if they do not wish to be harmed,” the statement said.
Netanyahu said earlier Monday that Hezbollah could not attack Israeli cities while what he called “the terrorist headquarters in Dahieh” remained out of bounds.
He said Israel was expanding ground operations in southern Lebanon and targeting Hezbollah strongholds.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said a ceasefire between Iran and the United States covered all fronts, including Lebanon.
He said any breach on one front would be considered a breach of the ceasefire across all fronts.
U.S. officials, including President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, have said Lebanon was not included in the U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement.
