Interior Ministry Warns of SAR1 Million Fine for Assisting Border Security Violators

RIYADH, June 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Saudi Arabia warned that anyone facilitating the entry of Border Security Law violators into the Kingdom, transporting them within the country, harboring them or providing any form of assistance or service may face severe penalties.
The penalties include up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to SAR1 million, confiscation of vehicles used for transportation and properties used for sheltering violators, as well as public naming.
The offense is classified as a major crime warranting arrest and is considered a breach of honor and trust.
The public can report violators of residency, labor and border security regulations by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh and Eastern regions.
Reports in all other regions of the Kingdom can be made by calling 999.
