Ferrari World Abu Dhabi says Formula Rossa earns new Guinness launch-speed record

ABU DHABI, April 28 — Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi said its Formula Rossa rollercoaster has received a new Guinness World Records title for the highest speed achieved by a rollercoaster launch in the world.
The park said the ride accelerates from a standstill to 240 kilometres per hour in 4.9 seconds through a single launch.
The achievement gives Formula Rossa a fresh global distinction and reinforces Ferrari World’s position among major international theme parks.
Since its launch, the rollercoaster has been marketed around speed and Formula 1-inspired acceleration, drawing on Ferrari’s racing heritage and engineering identity.
