DUBAI, July 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - Emirates will introduce its flagship Airbus A380 on the Dubai-Delhi route from October 25, making the Indian capital the airline’s third A380 destination in India.
The carrier said the four-class A380 will include Premium Economy.
It will operate alongside Emirates’ retrofitted four-class Boeing 777 aircraft on three other daily services to Delhi.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, said Delhi would become the third city in India to be served by the A380 after Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Kazim said the deployment reflected Emirates’ commitment to meeting growing travel demand to and from India.
Emirates is also expanding the availability of its Premium Economy product to six Indian destinations.
From October, Premium Economy will be available on flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kochi.
Kazim said Premium Economy would be available on nearly half of Emirates’ scheduled weekly flights to India by the end of October, with further service enhancements planned.
