RIYADH, August 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — Dubai Fitness Challenge will return from October 31 to November 29 for its 10th edition, maintaining its central commitment of 30 minutes of physical activity every day for 30 consecutive days.

The initiative was launched in 2017 under the vision of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

Participation has expanded considerably over the first nine editions. The inaugural Challenge attracted 786,000 people, while more than three million participated in the 2025 edition. In total, the initiative says it has brought together more than 16 million participants since its launch.

DFC has also added several large-scale activities to its programme. Dubai Run was introduced in 2019, followed by Dubai Ride in 2020, Dubai Stand Up Paddle in 2023 and Dubai Yoga in 2024.

The network of free Fitness Hubs has grown alongside participation. Eleven hubs were established across Dubai in 2019, increasing to 30 locations by 2025.

Organizers plan to use digital innovation during the 2026 edition to connect with more participants and support the Challenge’s broader objective of making regular physical activity part of daily life.
