DUBAI, November 17, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The 19th edition of Dubai Airshow will kick off on November 17 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, according to the organizers.
The five-day event, held at Dubai World Central (DWC), will host more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 first-time participants, and welcome over 148,000 trade visitors and 490 military and civil delegations from 115 countries. Twenty-one country pavilions will be present, including a debut from Morocco, alongside 98 chalets and expanded exhibition space.
This year’s edition will feature more than 200 aircraft in static and flying displays — the largest number in the event’s history — including the Joby Aviation eVTOL, COMAC C919 and C929, General Atomics CCA, and Bristell B23 915 IFR.
Space Pavilion and Conferences
The airshow will include its largest-ever Space Pavilion, organized in partnership with the UAE Space Agency, featuring international space agencies, commercial space companies, startups, investors, and academic institutions. A two-day Space Conference will bring together more than 50 experts and astronauts to discuss responsible space use, technological developments, and exploration programs.
UAE Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi said the event reflects the progress of the UAE space sector and supports the goals of the National Space Strategy 2030.
Defence, Mobility, and Innovation Focus
Major General Mubarak Saeed bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Executive Director of the Military Committee, said the airshow will highlight defence innovation and partnerships.
The 2025 conference program will include more than 450 speakers across four stages and 12 tracks, with new segments covering MRO, Advanced Air Mobility, passenger experience, cybersecurity, and workforce development.
Dubai Airports CEO Paul Griffiths confirmed that the inaugural Airport and Airline Keynote Track will address air traffic growth, digital transformation, sustainability, and passenger experience.
For the first time, eVTOL aircraft will participate in the flying display. Dubai Civil Aviation Authority Director General Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi said this milestone reflects the emirate’s ambitions in advanced air mobility and regulatory development.
New Zones and Sustainability
The Inspiration Zone, NextGen Leaders program, and Vista startup hub will target entrepreneurship and research in aerospace innovation. A Wellness Zone will also be available for visitors.
Sustainability initiatives include Sustainable Aviation Fuel supply, renewable energy-powered exhibition halls, reusable stand designs, and green ground operations.
The event will also extend into evening programming with sessions including Party on the Runway at Skydive Dubai and Airshow After Dark featuring entertainment and a drone show.
The SkyView grandstand area will be open to the public for aerial displays and family activities.
