Riyadh, February 28, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – One person was killed by falling debris after air defences intercepted Iranian missiles targeting sites in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates’ capital, state-run news agency WAM reported, citing the UAE defence ministry.
The ministry said an Asian national was killed after debris fell on a residential area of Abu Dhabi, WAM reported.
The UAE intercepted “a number” of ballistic missiles fired by Iran, the ministry said, describing the attack as “a dangerous escalation and a cowardly act,” according to WAM.
