Riyadh, October 22 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Cultural Development Fund (CDF) announced its participation in the third edition of the Saudi Film Confex, organized by the Film Commission from October 22 to 25 in Riyadh, to empower filmmakers and highlight the Kingdom’s film industry as a growing driver of economic and social development.
The fund will host a dedicated pavilion to engage entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals, providing insights into financial, developmental, and investment opportunities available within Saudi Arabia’s creative sector.
CDF representatives will also take part in specialized sessions and workshops focusing on AlUla’s expanding role as a destination for local and international film projects, as well as financing mechanisms that support the full film value chain — from production to distribution and marketing.
The fund announced that it will enable a number of Saudi film establishments to present their projects at the confex’s accompanying exhibition, helping to increase their visibility and contribute to the ongoing growth of the Kingdom’s film ecosystem under Vision 2030.
The Saudi Film Confex, organized by the Film Commission, serves as a major platform for dialogue and collaboration among filmmakers, investors, and experts, strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a rising global hub for cinema and creativity.
