LONDON, March 16, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – British Airways said on Monday it would extend temporary reductions to its flight schedules across the Middle East as regional tensions and airspace instability continue to disrupt aviation operations.

The airline said last week it had cancelled all flights to and from Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai and Tel Aviv until later this month.

Flights to and from Abu Dhabi have also been suspended until later this year, the airline said.

The move highlights the widening impact of the regional crisis on global aviation routes, as tensions that began with missile strikes targeting Iran have disrupted one of the world’s key air corridors.

British Airways said it plans to operate additional flights to and from Singapore and Bangkok while continuing to review options to assist passengers affected by the disruptions.
