Britain Warns Against Non-Essential Travel to Kuwait and Bahrain

LONDON, July 23, Saudi Arabia Breaking News – Britain advised against all but essential travel to Kuwait and Bahrain on Thursday, citing the unpredictable security situation in the Middle East.

The updated guidance follows repeated Iranian attacks against the two countries as Tehran and Washington continue to exchange strikes across the region.

Britain’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office warned of the risk of further attacks and unforeseen escalation.

The ministry said strikes and retaliatory attacks had occurred across the region since July 8, including Iranian attacks targeting US military and civilian infrastructure.

The new travel advice was issued shortly after Britain temporarily withdrew its diplomatic staff from Iran. The British Embassy in Tehran continues to operate remotely.
