Bahrain Says Air Defences Intercepted Several Iranian Missile and Drone Attacks

MANAMA, July 13, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Bahrain’s air defence systems intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial attacks on Monday, the General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force said.
The BDF accused Iran of continuing a systematic campaign of missile and drone attacks targeting civilians in Bahrain.
In a statement carried by the Bahrain News Agency, the General Command said the interceptions were conducted while the country’s armed forces maintained a high state of combat readiness.
It said all BDF services and units remain at the highest level of defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom.
Authorities urged residents to avoid approaching or handling unfamiliar or suspicious objects that may be remnants of the attacks and to report them immediately.
The General Command said the deliberate use of missiles and drones against civilians and private property constitutes a serious violation of international humanitarian law.
