Bahrain Condemns Houthi Ballistic Missile Attacks on Southern Saudi Arabia

MANAMA, July 14, Saudi Arabia Breaking News — Bahrain strongly condemned ballistic missile attacks launched by Yemen’s Houthi movement against southern Saudi Arabia, describing the escalation as a violation of international law and a threat to regional security.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the Kingdom’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its full support for measures taken by Riyadh to protect its sovereignty, security, stability and territorial integrity.
The ministry also expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s leadership of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen.
It said the coalition’s efforts remain important to achieving a comprehensive and lasting political settlement to the Yemeni conflict.
Bahrain called for a solution based on the GCC Initiative and its Implementation Mechanism, the outcomes of Yemen’s National Dialogue Conference and UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
The ministry said these efforts should preserve Yemen’s unity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
