Bahrain condemns drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia

MANAMA, May 18 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Bahrain strongly condemned the drone attack targeting Saudi Arabia using three drones launched from Iraqi airspace.
Bahrain’s Foreign Ministry described the attack as a dangerous escalation, a threat to regional security and stability, and a violation of international law and U.N. Security Council Resolution 2817.
The ministry affirmed Bahrain’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all measures taken to protect its sovereignty, security and stability.
It also praised Saudi air defenses for intercepting and destroying the drones.
Bahrain called on Iraq to take immediate measures to hold those involved accountable and prevent the use of its territory or airspace for hostile acts targeting countries in the region.
