Arada awards AED1.55 billion contract for W Residences at Dubai Harbour

Dubai, February 23, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Arada awarded the main construction contract for W Residences at Dubai Harbour to UAE-based Engineering Contracting Company (LLC) under an agreement valued at AED1.55 billion.
The contract covers delivery of all three towers of the waterfront development. Early and enabling works, including excavation and piling, have begun following the award of a separate AED51 million contract to APCC Piling & Marine Contracting.
The project includes 490 branded residences across three towers connected by a landscaped podium. Valued at AED5 billion, the development will feature apartments, duplexes and rooftop penthouses with private pools.
Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, described the contract award as a milestone for the waterfront project.
Operated by Marriott International, the 40-storey complex is designed to achieve LEED Silver certification and will include amenities such as an infinity pool, fitness centre, lounges, dining outlets and co-working spaces.
The development overlooks Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina and Bluewaters Island and forms part of the wider Dubai Harbour master plan developed by Shamal Holding.
