AlUla Tour 2026 begins Tuesday after upgrade to UCI ProSeries 2.Pro

AlUla, Jan 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The sixth edition of the AlUla Tour will start on Tuesday in Saudi Arabia’s historic AlUla governorate and run through Saturday, featuring elite international cycling teams alongside the Saudi national team.
Organisers have upgraded the race to the second-tier UCI ProSeries (2.Pro) category, placing it among the major professional cycling events on the calendar.
The race will cover a total distance of 800 km across five stages. Stage one on Tuesday will start and finish at the camel race track over 158 km. Stage two on Wednesday will be held from the Manshiyah train station over 152 km.

Stage three on Thursday will run from Winter Park to Bir Jidah – Jabal Wirqah over 142 km, followed by stage four from Winter Park to Al-Hijr (Hegra) over 184 km.
The final stage on Saturday will run from AlUla Old Town to the Harrat Uwayrid viewpoint over 164 km.
The event is organised by the Saudi Cycling Federation in cooperation with ASO and the Royal Commission for AlUla, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport.
