RIYADH, November 29, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – AlUla will host the official test race for the 2026 World Endurance Championship on Saturday, alongside the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation Endurance Cup, with 270 riders from 18 countries participating.

The event is organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation.

According to organizers, the 160-kilometer, three-star test race is held under the supervision of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) to assess AlUla’s readiness to host the global championship. The test will evaluate facilities, endurance trails, timing systems, veterinary points, and preparations for international judges.

The Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation Endurance Cup will run in parallel, featuring a two-star 120-kilometer race and a one-star 100-kilometer race.

Authorities said the evaluation results will support final preparations for the 2026 World Endurance Championship.
