Yemen Coalition Says It Will Respond to Houthi Missile and Drone Attacks on Saudi Cities

RIYADH, September 9 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) - The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said it would respond to Houthi ballistic missile and drone attacks on Khamis Mushait, Abha and Jazan on Wednesday, according to its spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Malki.
Al-Malki said the Houthis launched the attacks on September 9 and were continuing to target Saudi Arabia’s national assets and infrastructure.
He said the coalition’s Joint Forces Command would respond responsibly to protect the Kingdom’s sovereignty and national assets and safeguard civilians and civilian property.
The response would be carried out in self-defence under international law and Article 51 of the UN Charter, Al-Malki said. He added that the coalition would comply with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.
