Gulf participation marks 56th Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show in Sharjah

Sharjah, September 29 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The 56th edition of the Watch and Jewellery Middle East Show, the region’s largest gold and jewellery trade event, recorded strong Gulf participation with leading houses from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Oman joining prominent UAE exhibitors.
Organized by Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition features more than 500 local and international exhibitors and 1,800 designers from across the global jewellery and watchmaking industry.
The event serves as a business hub for Gulf and international companies, offering opportunities to secure deals, forge partnerships, and expand investments across the UAE and regional markets.
Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, said the strong Gulf presence reflects the event’s importance as a platform consolidating the UAE’s position as a global centre for gold and precious metals trade. He added that the exhibition also supports emerging Gulf designers by showcasing their ability to blend heritage-inspired artistry with modern design.
Among the highlights is Saudi Arabia’s 4C’s Jewellery, which presented an extensive collection of gold and diamond pieces tailored for diverse consumer preferences. Qatari brand AlMasa Jewellery emphasized its participation as a strategic step to strengthen its Gulf presence, citing high visitor turnout as proof of the exhibition’s regional appeal.
Bahrain’s Al Shehab Pearls introduced an exclusive line featuring natural Bahraini pearls paired with 21-carat gold and precious stones, reflecting the Kingdom’s cultural heritage. Company representatives praised the event’s diversity of exhibitors and its role as a global networking platform for the industry.
Supported by Al Romaizan Gold and Jewellery as diamond sponsor and Salem Al Shueibi Jewellery as platinum sponsor, the exhibition remains open until Sunday from 13:00 to 22:00, showcasing the latest in jewellery and luxury watch design.
