Vladimir Putin, Saudi Crown Prince discuss OPEC+ cooperation, energy market stability in phone call

RIYADH, February 3, 2026 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Russian President Vladimir Putin held a phone call on Tuesday with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Kremlin said in a statement, adding the two agreed to deepen cooperation in the political, economic, trade and humanitarian spheres.

The Kremlin statement said the leaders discussed progress in their joint work within the OPEC+ format and efforts to maintain stability on global energy markets.

Separately, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported the call covered bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.
